Takin' it to the streets

Now this is my kind of busking.. art, right before you're eyes. This chiller hangs out in Circular Quay, draws for your entertainment and all he asks for in return in a few coins so that he can afford to keep doing it. You got it right bud.. if I were as good as you, I would too. [disposable camera]

Gotta lust for life

Not at all what I was going for.. but failure, at the very least, is a learning experience. Next time I will get it right, but for now this is what you get to see.. my first attempt at playing with neon lights. Still kinda cool I'd say (after stewing over it for a couple days, haha).. Holga 135 & Lomography 100

Escalation

What a nice way to brighten someone's day. Art on the escalator. A corn family holding hands. Some pumpkins and green beans about to brawl. I find that it's little things like this, which usually go unnoticed, that deserve most to be photographed. I had a disposable with me this time.

Real dogs don't whisper

A walk through the botanic gardens. A dog following us along the way. Some flowers. Lots of sun. Holga 135. Lomography 100. The perfect combination to catch a whisper of our little friend in an MX. No help from Cesar Millan needed.

Repeat offender

So, I know I have put up this photo before in my 'Flower power' post, BUT I wanted to share it with you all again because I have recently entered it into the Centre for Contemporary Photogaphy's 2012 Kodak Salon. That is to say, I have entered it in Australia's largest open-entry, photo-media exhibition and compeitition!
