This yarn boming looks that much cooler through a fisheye lens, don't you think? Glad I was carrying mine with me when I found this staircase in Sydney.

Daydreaming

With the help of a Holga and redscale film, I give you this double exposure to use when you need to switch off and slip into a daydream. Wouldn't you rather be here? And with that little slice of a handsome face on the far right, this photo just got that much better.

Coffee lovers

Not too sure what happened to this photo, but I like it. A bit of a tease for coffee lovers, it just looks so delicious, and that cool spoon, just so good - but you can only get a taste, not the whole photo. I think I'm going to to enjoy seeing what else me and my SLR come up with.

Mystery Guest

I'm not totally sure who took this photo, I know it wasn't me considering I'm in it, but I am going to make a good assumption and say it was the beautiful Belinda. Girl can take a cool photo with a Holga. Good use of the colour-gel filters too. Go Belinda.

Better to speak of palm trees

For me, growing up in New England, palm trees used to be synonymous with vacations and exotic places. But after living in Australia for the past 5 years, I have started taking their presence a bit for granted. Recently though my Holga and Lomography Redscale 50-200 film helped me find a re-appreciation for them. In this photo they seem a bit more severe and commanding rather than their usual relaxing, mellow selves. Anyways, pretty red.. I mean rad.

Eyes on fire

Handsome guys make for a good photo - in this double exposure I got some of my favourites. Just feeding my flame to take more photos of my friends with my Diana Mini - that camera is going to be coming everywhere with me.

Home

No real rhyme or reason, just looking through all my photos and came across this one of Boston, my home turf. It was taken from the Hilton in Back Bay while getting ready for my best friend's wedding. Lots of good memories here, not to mention the way the Diana Mini adds character to the photo itself. I hope everyone, who hasn't already, gets to experience this amazing city somehow, someday.

Camel rock

Some things are more fun when you use your imagination. Take this rock for example, dubbed 'camel rock' by someone down the coast, but in this photo I like to think of it more as twin cryptids who decided to high tail it out of that lake in Scotland and call the saltier, more expansive waters of the south coast home - see ya Loch Ness, hello Holga double exposure.

Hey, good lookin'

Pretty easy on the eyes right? The photo of course.. but the boy is not too bad either (wink). Seriously though, very happy I have this photo, taken with a Pentax Spotmatic, to remember a recent holiday with my favourite guy.

A bit strange

Look closely and you'll find the double exposure in this. One is easy the other isn't so much, but my boyfriend and his brother are in there somewhere. A bit strange, but I like it. Thank you Holga and Lomography Redscale 50-200.

What a beautiful little thing, captured with a wonderful SLR camera, a vintage Pentax Spotmatic. My Spotmatic was a recent gift to me and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite cameras to use, especially with results like this.

Ellen in Wonderland

A woman who fills her time finding beautiful things, then arranging them just so. Giving her bedroom an incredibly warm, vintage feel that openly invites you into her space. Walk a mile in my shoes

We all do what we believe is best - and I thought it best to use my lomo fisheye when I found this collection behind a cafe. Bit of a strange place to stumble upon such an unusual amount of miniature shoes, but if they didn't have them then I wouldn't have this photo - and besides I shouldn't judge.

The ghost of Peats Ridge past

Peats Ridge (a music festival my friends and I went to over new years) was amazing but, like all good things it had to come to an end. This picture encapsulates just that, it happened, its over, and now we have our memories - or the reminder from friends who have the memories - to last us till next time. Big thanks to the beautiful Ellen for helping turn this idea in a pretty cool double exposure.

Special guest

Now I can't take credit for this photo however, my boyfriend can. Pretty impressive for his first go with our Pentax Spotmatic, not to mention with black and white film! We are very lucky to live where we do and he's captured that here - photo, photographer, amazing, full stop.
