Head in the clouds

My experimentation with clouds in photos is bordering on obsessive. I think they just make everything better. Maybe it's because my head is often in the them.

Party time

Having a disposable camera with you at a house party is always a good idea - especially when there is live music at said party.

Torn

A bit torn on this one. In one way I love it and in another I don't. Maybe because in my head I pictured it would turn out much cooler than it has. Ah, anyways. The people in it I love. The Walking Who and a crowd full of friends at a Walking Who gig. So I guess there's not too much to complain about, maybe I do love this snap. Let me know what you think.

Creative process

While on my way to creating the photos I used in yesterday's post, these three images happened too. Not as cool as the other ones (in my opinion) but worth a share. A bit of insight into my thought process when playing with my scanner at the very least I suppose.

 

I thought I would mention as well, just in case this doesn't already go without saying, I don't use Photoshop or anything of the sort with any of my photos. They are all done either with just the camera itself (all analogue) or by scanning multiple negatives on top of one another (with an Epson Perfection V330 Photo scanner).

Creative souls

So the boys from The Walking Who did an interview with Sideways Through Sound, played some acoustic tunes of theirs too, and I want you to listen. As encouragement I give you the three photos above.. Rohin, Jay then Paul.. doin what they do. So listen here. If you don't, then you'll only have yourself to blame when these guys make it big and you can't say that you were one of the lucky humans to hear them first.

Saw these two at opposite ends of the stage and had to bring them together. One of my most favourite couples ever. [same camera and film as my last few posts]
