Since we're already talking about street art.. check out this guy..
How cool is that? Not 100% sure who the artist is, so if you know I would love for you to let me know! I used Lucky 200 ISO film and a random Hanimex camera I picked up at an op shop for $2. I love the way this film picks up the colours of street art (I have used the same for my previous posts on street art and grafitti).
COOL UPDATE: So, since I put this post up I got an email from Si at Verb Syndicate - you know those awesome peeps that bring us Wonderwalls (yes, that is a link and you should check it out). Well, Si let me know that it was through Wonderwalls that we got Sydney street artist, Pudl, to come down and give us this gem. Like Pudl? Click through to his blog here!

Rone
Have you seen this woman?
If you haven't, then you have obviously been walking down Keira Street with your eyes closed. This amazing piece was done by Melbourne artist, Rone. Want to know more about Rone ('cause I know I did)?.. He's featured in VNA issue 21, along with some other rad cats. I suggest you check it out.. http://verynearlyalmost.com/shop/vna-issue-21/

Expect the unexpected
I wasn't expecting most of my photos on destroyed film to turn out like these ones have, with bits of the film completely missing. I was expecting mostly just discoloration, more like warped colours. Which don't get me wrong I did get some of those ones too, more like the first two photos in yesterdays post (and more to come). However, I really like this burnt out look. I have acutally been toying with the idea of taking some developed 35mm film to a flame to cause a little wreckage.. now I will do it for sure.

Oh shit
Finally got the destruction I was looking for..
Left my Lucky 200 film in a mixture of lemon juice and hot water for 2 hours (shaking it every 10 minutes or so), let it dry for about a month and then loaded it in to my Pentax Spotmatic.. More photos to come this week.

Head in the clouds
My experimentation with clouds in photos is bordering on obsessive. I think they just make everything better. Maybe it's because my head is often in the them.

Party time
Having a disposable camera with you at a house party is always a good idea - especially when there is live music at said party.
Yea, we know what's up.
